Peer Review
The American Indian Law Review is committed to advancing the quality of published scholarship in the field of Indian law and issues involving indigenous peoples. In order to achieve this objective, AILR is actively seeking the support of professionals and scholars in the field to work together to build a network of referees and a Board of Advisors.
Peer Review
Beginning with the Spring 2008 Volume, articles submitted to the the American Indian Law Review will be subject to an independent, double-blind peer-review process; the identities of the referees and the authors will remain anonymous. Decisions regarding acceptance for publication will be made based upon objective recommendations from referees chosen by AILR editorial board members as well as recommendations from the AILR Board of Advisors.
Peer Reviewer Recruitment
The American Indian Law Review is currently recruiting scholars and experts in the field of federal Indian law and indigenous peoples' issues to review articles submitted to AILR for publication.
